Christmas & a Merry Home Portrait

I love being in the South with my family for the holidays. We play games all night and eat ham and sweet potatoes until they come out of our ears. And let's not forget the egg nog; it's gone before it hits the refrigerator self.

Christmas morning was sweet. I received several things for our new home that I really love: a framed picture from our wedding, an electric tea kettle, and bowls from West Elm. My sister Lindsey, even gave us this home portrait. It's really great when you have talented family members!

We head back North tomorrow. I can't wait to get back to hang the portrait and start work on our place again. I hope you all had a very merry Christmas! Did you receive anything special for your home?

  1. I miss eggnog! Were you able to find it in England? I tried to explain it to my co-workers here but it always turned out sounding so gross. Glad you had a great holiday!

    1. I couldn't find it in England while we were there...it's such a tragedy! I should have made some and let our friends try it. I hope you're doing well Chelsea!
